Using Multiple Stair Lifts

If your stairs are complex and cost is a barrier, there are alternatives to a curved stair lift. For example, installing two straight stair lifts rather than one curved stair lift can be a cost-effective alternative for those whose stairs have a mid-flight landing. Provided that the user is stable and mobile enough to transfer themselves from one lift chair to the other, one straight stair lift can be installed to carry the user to the landing, and another to carry them the rest of the way up or down the staircase. This option requires a spacious landing that is large enough to accommodate both lifts and leaves enough room for the user safely maneuver. If you have a staircase with one or multiple landings, check with us to see if installing multiple straight stair lifts would be less expensive than installing a single curved lift in your home.
